Call it a stereotype, but these were all in the top two rows of the GIS “honda exhaust.” Sad, I’ve always liked Civic hatches.

Is there an issue here? As far as I know HKS, Greddy, and Invidia all make fairly well regarded products.

A lot of even the nice exhaust systems look like that though.

Nah I know. Just a liiiiittle overkill and obnoxious when people put these on semi stock motors.

just put the stock box back on my civic hatch last night, part of my prep for upcoming emissions test
and I don’t have a fart cannon the rest of the time... just a straight pipe :P

Yeah, to be honest exhausts have come a long way since chrome underbody-glow lambo door days.

Lol, you’d hate my FR-S, but then again it’s often track driven and it (just barely) conforms to noise limits at my normal HPDE venues.

I don’t know what I ate, but I sure took Flatulent Friday literally today.

Nah I’m fine with functional big loud exhausts. But stock or stanced small displacement cars with that shit, idk, sometimes it just seems like they give us a bad name

Way to commit!

98 Civic sedan here. Love my stock quiet exhaust, but my D16Y7 would actually sound pretty good with a straight pipe. Sounds decent with just a downpipe but resonating between the floor and the ground is no bueno.
